My name is Amy Van Epps, and for over 13 years I have been an avid photographer, which led me to start my business. Since 2008 I’ve been capturing some of the most important moments of peoples’ lives so that they can be cherished forever. Flexible, understanding, and always passionate about my work; it would be my pleasure to be there for you on your special day.
Ever since I my first high school photography class I knew I wanted to be a professional photographer. Right out of high school the Corcoran College of Art and Design offered me a full scholarship to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Art Photography. I attended Corcoran for two years, before a loss in my family led me to return home to Florida, where I finished my photography degree at Daytona State College. Both schools offered drastically different aspects of photography education, something that has defined & balanced my work. My studies continued at the University of Central Florida where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree and in May 2015 I completed my Master’s in Educational Leadership at UCF. As you may have gathered, I have a thirst for knowledge and I love to learn.
I live in Winter Park, FL with my wonderful boyfriend and our furbabies: a German Sheppit puppy named Abita, a boxer named Stella, and our three cats – Charlie, Simon, and Natasha. When I have downtime I love watching movies, walking, watching sports (UCF, GB Packers, & Wisconsin Badgers), and traveling.
In order to insure a consistent & flawless product I use only the best equipment, as well as provide my own professional editing service for all of my work. My focus is natural light photography, meaning I prefer to use ambient lighting to capture the best images, as opposed to flash or studio lighting, however for dark indoor photographs flash is necessary.
