First off, I have to say that Chelsea and Tyler have some amazing parents. Chelsea’s mother has been one of the sweetest and kindest mothers I have every worked with.
I met Chelsea at her parent’s house to photograph her getting ready. The limo arrived and picked up the girls and took them to Saint Mary Magdalen Catholic Church in Altamonte Springs. In my experience, Catholic churches are absolutely stunning to photograph in! I have never been disappointed. Chelsea and Tyler agreed to exchange notes prior to the ceremony and coincidentally, the both had the same biblical verse. Chelsea joked that she was not allowed to cry, as she has an “ugly” crying face. We all laughed, but within a few short seconds she started to cry. It was a really sweet moment.
After the ceremony, we traveled to the Tuscawilla Country Club in Winter Springs for the reception. Ashley and Lauren of Cherish Events of Orlando were a godsend to work with! They had everything planned out and coordinated and made my job so much easier, especially when we needed extra time for group portraits. Chelsea and Tyler were happily surprised when they viewed the reception space (it was gorgeous).
The lighting for portraits outside was stunning, it was such a beautiful day. Tyler even carried Chelsea up the steps back to the reception room to get ready for their grand entrance.
Their was hardly a dry eye in the house when Chelsea’s father gave a speech. Chelsea and Tyler have been together since high school. She overcame some obstacles after a car accident and Tyler never left her side.
The reception had a lot of energy and DJ Carl was fantastic! He gave Chelsea and Tyler a mix of all the songs played at the end of the night. Before they left for their honeymoon (which was a total surprise for Chelsea), the night ended with sparklers. Congratulations!
